Corporate Tours

Do not miss the opportunity to experience new companies’ technologies, witness operations at work, interact with potential recruiters, and network with top engineers and scientists.  This is one of your best opportunities to make a personal connection with renowned companies.

Corporate Tours will take place on Thursday, November 3. 

Transportation to and from the Charlotte Convention Center for the tours is provided unless the site is a short walking distance. Register early for access to these special events.  Space is limited and are available on a first come first serve basis.

Bank of America

Invited guests will have the opportunity to join Bank of America colleagues for light breakfast in Founders Hall, one of Bank of America’s signature meeting venues. From 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. you will hear from Bank of America senior leaders: Grace Nystrum (Charlotte Market Executive) and Michelle Boston (Data Management Technology Executive), learn more about the company and Charlotte market highlights while you network with bank colleagues in a speed networking event, and get a glimpse into why Bank of America is a great place to work — especially for technologists.

General Motors - Sold Out!

General Motors’ Charlotte Technical Center is a hub for racing and production engineering teams to collaborate, share resources and learn together, delivering better results more quickly both on the racetrack and in our production vehicles. The center features advanced virtual tools, including three state-of-the-art Driver-in-the-Loop simulators, aero development and other software-enabled vehicle modeling technology to enable faster analysis and iteration.

Location:

Transportation to and from General Motors’ Charlotte Technical Center will be provided.  Shuttle will depart Charlotte Convention Center from the Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. entrance at 9:00 AM.

Tour Restrictions:

Upon arriving and signing in to the facility a site safety overview will be given prior to the tour.  No photo or video taking allowed in the facility.

NASCAR - Sold out!

Tour the NASCAR Research & Development Center. During this tour you will learn about the
safety initiatives and enhancing competition for all NASCAR series. It is the first research and
development center owned and operated by a sanctioning body of a major motorsport’s series.
Engineers with a multitude of disciplinary backgrounds work out of this facility, along with
leaders responsible for officiating the sport week in and week out. Engine performance, safety
equipment testing, and vehicle inspection happen regularly at this important NASCAR hub.

Location:

Transportation to and from NASCAR Research & Development Center will be
provided.  Shuttle will depart Charlotte Convention Center from the Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
entrance at 8:00 AM.

Tour Restrictions:

No photography of any kind is allowed while on the premises.

TICKETS REQUIRED

Advance tickets are required for the corporate tours. You may select tickets during the registration process. If you’re already registered, use the link from your confirmation email to go back into the registrations system and select tickets for the events you would like to attend.
